Volunteer Opportunities help the Kistler Center and are a great way to get involved in the community and make new friends.

People of all ages volunteer for the Center, and there are many ways individuals and groups can help.

Community Events

Volunteers may help with our premier fundraising event, A Night in the Caribbean, which is typically held in the spring. Volunteers are also needed at various times throughout the year to assist other organizations who sponsor events on behalf of the Kistler Center.

Misc. Projects

Volunteers are essential for projects such as stuffing and sealing envelopes, wrapping gifts, and laminating therapy supplies. We never know what new and interesting project might come up next.

Special Projects

Therapy may include motor skills groups with special themes such as dance, cheerleading, swimming, and martial arts. These activities give our children a sense of normalcy and help to develop socialization, heightened self-esteem, and improved coordination. Volunteers with expertise in these and other areas are encouraged to help with the groups.
