Do you offer military discounts? 
Parrot Island is pleased to extend a special discount on day passes of 15% to all veterans and active duty military personnel and their immediate family members from all branches of the United States Armed Forces. Military ID is required. This offer on offered at Parrot Island ticket window only.


If my child is 3 years old, does he/she need a ticket?
Children 3 years old and younger do not need a ticket or season pass to enter the park.


Do you offer a non-swimmer ticket?
Non-swimmer tickets are $5.00 each. All guests’s required to wear a wristband at all times. Spectator tickets are offer on offered at Parrot Island ticket window only.


What do I do if I have lost or do not have my season pass card or would like an additional card?
If you do not have your season pass cards and additional cards may be purchased from Guest Services for $5.00.


What is the youngest my child can come to the park without me?
Children 14 and under must be accompanied by a responsible adult (18+) at all times, and cannot be left alone on park property. Guests who are not at least 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Parents must keep children aged five and under within arm’s reach at all times.  


May I bring my own food and beverage into Parrot Island Waterpark?
No outside food and beverages are allowed to be brought into Parrot Island Waterpark. However, exceptions are made for guests with special dietary needs to include food allergies and baby food/formula.


Can I bring a Cooler into the park?
Guests may bring coolers into the park for a onetime fee or purchase a Cooler Season Pass. All coolers will be searched by a Guest Services Team Member.
Day Cooler Pass $20 / Season Cooler Pass $85
Hard or Soft Side Hand Coolers not to exceed 18x16x20
No alcohol, glass containers, or fast food.

Where is Health Services located?
Health Services is located next to Guest Services at the front gate.


How do I re-enter the park if I have to leave for some reason?
Guests who leave the park and plan to return must leave their wristband on. When guests return to the park, they must enter through the ticket booth to show their wristband. This includes season pass holders. Season Passes can only be scanned once per day. Transferring wristband is a violation of Parrot Island policies and is strictly prohibited.


Do you rent strollers and wheelchairs?
Parrot Island does not have strollers or wheelchairs available for rent, and cannot hold on to strollers or wheelchairs for guests. Guests are encouraged to bring their own personal strollers and wheelchairs.


Is there a place to store my belongings inside the park?

Lockers are located outside of the Men’s and Women’s Restrooms to either side of the front gate. Lockers are purchased from the self-service kiosk at the locker bank.
Small Locker - $5.00
Large Locker - $8.00
Jumbo Locker - $10.00
Lockers are available and are accessible for a full day.


What happens if I lose something while at the park?
Lost & Found is located at Guest Services. If you lose something while at the park, please come to Guest Services and we will have you fill out a lost article report. If the item(s) are found, you will be contacted via telephone. Items will be held for two weeks before being sent to donations. Click here to fill out a Lost & Found form.


What happens if it rains?
In the event inclement weather requires water attractions to shut down, once weather conditions have improved, the rides and attractions will reopen. Rain checks will be available upon request to guests exiting the park if all attractions have been closed for at least 2-hours consecutively. Guests must provide a same-day ticket receipt at Guest Services in order to obtain a rain check. No rain checks are issued for season pass holders. Rain checks will not be provided if the park closes within 1-hour of our published closing time. Once the attractions reopen following a temporary closure due to weather, rain checks will no longer be offered. Cash refunds are not given for inclement weather.

What kind of food does the park have?

Are pets permitted at Parrot Island Waterpark?
Pets are not allowed, with the exception of working service animals.


Is smoking permitted in the park?
Parrot Island is a smoke-free park, and all forms of smoking, including E-cigarettes and vaping, are prohibited.


What if our party gets separated?
Arrange a meeting place and time should your party become separated. All lost children are brought to the Health Services. Lost parents are also directed to the Health Services. Parents with lost children should go to Guest Services. Guest Services will contact all Team Members carrying radios throughout the park.


Behavior
We expect all guests to behave in a family-friendly manner. Line jumping, profanity and unruly behavior are offensive to park guests and may be cause for ejection without refund. Guests are not permitted to save places in line or bypass others. Guests exiting a line must go to the back of the line if they chose to return.


Language
Guests using profanity or abusive language, symbols or gestures may be ejected from the park without a refund.


Does Parrot Island Waterpark have a dress code?
In keeping with our family friendly atmosphere, and for health and safety reasons, Parrot Island Waterpark strictly enforces a dress code. Proper swimwear is required. Swimwear with rivets or any other metal ornamentation is not permitted on the water slides. Clothing or tattoos with offensive language or graphics are not permitted at any time.

Examples of clothing not permitted are those displaying:
Profanity
Pornography
Graphic violence
Support of drugs or drug usage
Gang symbols
Promotion of discrimination against any group

Provocative swimwear and long pants are not permitted. Appropriate T-shirts and surf/rash shirts are allowed on body slides. All children must be in appropriate swimwear. Children wearing diapers must wear an approved WATERPROOF DIAPER, which is available for purchase at the Tiki Hut Gift Shop.


Park admission may be denied if clothing or tattoos are deemed to be inappropriate by management and the Guest refuses all reasonable options. 


Life Jackets
Life jackets are available on a first come, first serve basis in a variety of sizes at no charge. We strongly recommend all guests 48” tall or under, are weak swimmers or non-swimmers wear a U.S. Coast Guard approved flotation device. Parents must keep children aged five and under within arm’s reach at all times. The use of your personal flotation device(s) will be subject to lifeguard approval. No water wings or inflatable devices are permitted.

Are there inner tubes available for use?
Tubes are provided complimentary for guest use. Tubes must remain in the lazy river & activity pool and are not to be taken back to your seating area.
Can I bring my own face mask goggles, snorkel, and/or fins? Although we have expansive swimming areas, face masks with snorkels and fins are not allowed do to the proximity to other guests and safety issues.


Can I bring my selfie stick or monopod into the park?
Selfie sticks, monopods, and similar items are not allowed in Parrot Island Waterpark.


Photography - Parrot Island Waterpark requests that all photographs or video taken by our guests be used for their personal use and enjoyment only. Any use, reuse or reproduction for commercial purposes without the express written consent of Parrot Island Waterpark is strictly prohibited. No commercial photography of any kind is permitted. Specifically, the use of the following equipment is not permitted:
Lenses greater than three-and-one-half inches in length
Interchangeable lenses of any kind
Any camera mounted to a vehicle, drone, cart, scooter or other moving object
No cameras (video, still, cell-phone, smart phones, etc.) are allowed on any rides at any time. No exceptions.


Attraction Information

Are there any height or weight requirements?
All of our attractions have different height requirements that are detailed below:
Caribbean Splash Wave Pool: Under 48" must be within arm's reach of a supervising companion.
Toucan’s Cove Activity Pool: Under 48" must be within arm's reach of a supervising companion.
Blue Macaw: Minimum 48 inches.
Tangerine Twist: Minimum 48 inches.
Pelican Plunge: Minimum 48 inches.
Pineapple Plunge: Minimum 48 inches.
FlowRider: Minimum 48 inches to stand up Flowboard and 42 inches to lay down body board.
Tiny Turtle Island: Intended for guests under 42 inches five years old and under.
Crocodile Creek Lazy River: Under 48" must be within arm's reach of a supervising companion.


Are there restrictions for guests with casts?
Guests with casts are not permitted on any water ride or attraction.


Are there restrictions for guests with prosthetic devices?
There are restrictions on certain rides, depending on the prosthetic device. If a guest cannot maintain proper rider position without the prosthetic, or is unable to swim without the device, the guest will not be allowed to ride.


Rider Responsibility
There is an inherent risk in participating in any amusement ride. We expect riders to exercise good judgment and act in a responsible manner. Guests must obey all verbal and written warnings and properly use all ride safety equipment provided.  Guests who do not comply with ride rules may be ejected from the park without a refund. Please refer to specific guidelines posted at the entrance of every ride or attraction.


Are there rides for small children to enjoy?
Parrot Island Waterpark is home to some of the most exciting rides that your pint-sized ones will enjoy!


What is your loose article policy?
Loose articles are not permitted on rides and should be left with non-riders or secured in lockers. Parrot Island and its employees are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Loose articles of any kind (including but not limited to purses, backpacks, and beverage containers) may not be taken down the waterslides. Prohibited Items

The following items are not permitted at any time:

  • Outside food / coolers*
  • Inner Tubes (available at park only)
  • Lawn/folding chairs
  • Magic markers, spray paint, Aerosol cans
  • Glass bottles
  • Knives, multi-tools or other similar items regardless of size
  • Spiked clothing/jewelry
  • Fireworks/explosives
  • Firearms/ammunition
  • Mace/Pepper Spray
  • Skate shoes or any footwear with wheels
  • Selfie sticks, monopods, and similar items
  • Unmanned aerial vehicles/drones
  • Permanent markers (Sharpie/etc.)

*Food exceptions are made for guests with special dietary needs to include food allergies and baby food/formula, but coolers are only allowed with the purchase of a cooler pass and are subject to search by staff. Cooler Passes may be purchased at a ticket sales window on the day of your visit.

We promote a safe and family friendly atmosphere. All guests are prohibited from bringing in any weapons of any kind onto the premises. Parrot Island does not allow weapons, and does not provide weapon lockers. We ask off-duty law enforcement to identify themselves upon entry if they plan on bringing in concealed weapons.


Weapons include, but are not limited to: firearms, knives, explosives, handcuffs, batons, pepper spray, brass knuckles, throwing stars, and any other instrument that can be used to cause bodily harm.


Guests found in possession of any weapon will be asked to remove the item from the premises immediately. Those that do not comply may be ejected from the water park.

Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs)
To ensure the safety and enjoyment of all guests, Parrot Island Waterpark prohibits the operation or use of any unmanned aerial vehicle on, from, or above Parrot Island Waterpark premises absent specific consent.
